The control valves can be finicky. This valve bleeds off pressure to the return line to reduce the amount of power assist. Not sure if the control valve will react properly to that. It's not hard to hook up the valve and try it if you have the money to spare. It worked good on my Factory Five Roadster with a conventional ps box.
